FBI Director Christopher Wray could n’t even confirm whether former president Donald Trump was shot in the attempted assassination during his testimony to Congress on Wednesday.  ,

Despite hours of questioning, Wray claimed twice that the FBI still has n’t figured out what exactly grazed Trump’s ear at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He told Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-Calif. ),” My understanding is that either it ]a bullet ] or some shrapnel is what grazed his ear”. It appears that the FBI is also fumbling with the fundamentals.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio ), Committee Chair, later inquired about Wray’s knowledge of where all eight of Thomas Matthew Crooks ‘ shots ended up after the shooting.
” There is some question about whether or not it was a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear, so it is conceivable, as I sit here right now, I do n’t know whether that bullet, in addition to causing the grazing, could have also landed somewhere else”, Wray testified.
Jordan did not respond to any inquiries about the fragmentation.
Trump stated at the Republican National Convention only weeks after the attempted murder of my wife that the gun” came within a quarter of an inch of taking my life.”
The previous president described the incident as” I heard a loud buzzing sound and felt everything hit me really, really hard on my right ear.”
Trump’s former White House physician, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas ), later told a conservative talk show that he examined the wound in the days immediately after the shooting. The gun was so far away from his mind that there was no concussive result, and it simply took the top of his ear off.

Perhaps the stories that Trump was struck by cracked glass have been refuted by the left-wing fact-checking website Snopes.
Initially skeptical about the possibility that previous U.S. President Donald Trump had been shot on July 13, 2024, rumors that he had been hit by glass fragments from a script that had been hit by a shot fueled speculation.
Reporters from Newsmax and Axios provided information about a source who made this claim, which was later expanded by other outlets, including Natural Story. Some even went so far as to visit the alleged publication” a staunt.”
However, there was no proof that a shot struck Trump’s hearing, and these initial reports to the contrary have generally been refuted.  ,
The fact that Trump later claimed on Truth Social that a shot had actually penetrated his ears undermines the claim that cup, not a gun, caused the injury. Additionally, a New York Times picture that shows a gun passing by Trump’s ear and a photograph that shows no damage to the teleprompters reportedly hit, undermine the claim that the injury was actually caused by the fact that Trump later claimed, on Truth Social, that a bullet had, in fact, pierced his ear:
My right ears was pierced by a shot that struck the middle portion of my right ear. I was soon aware that something was wrong because I heard a buzzing sound, shots, and soon felt the bullet ripping through my skin.  ,
Trump’s outline of his wound matches those of photos of his hearing after he was struck, before being taken off the stage.

Why is it that Snopes can figure out that Trump was, indeed, struck by a bullet, but the FBI ca n’t? Is the FBI work by an anti-Trump plot theory?
