The 42-year-old successor to the British throne inherited the , Duchy of Cornwall estate , and Duke of Cornwall name upon King Charles II I’s arrival, following the , 2022 death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Through the estate, the Prince of Wales earned £23.6 million ($ 30.4 million ) during the 2023-2024 financial year, his first full year with the new title, according to the estate’s Integrated Annual Report.
The available deficit is used to finance the people, generous and personal activities of William, wife Kate Middleton and their youthful family, according to the estate’s website.
Despite this, the property’s website states that William pays income tax on the monthly income and that he has no entry to its cash value.
