Republican Party leader and former political candidate Nikki Haley has condemned the personal attacks directed at Vice President Kamala Harris, urging reviewers to concentrate on her ineffective actions. Haley claimed in an interview with CNN on Thursday that Harris may be judged on her policies and actions rather than her race or sex.
” It’s not helpful. It’s no helpful”, Haley said firmly. We’re talking about a liberal senator, after all, who has n’t actually accomplished much and who has n’t done much with what she received. Talking about that is not necessary. It just depends on how she looks and what female she is. The Americans are more intelligent than that.
In response to accusations of Harris for her race and gender, Haley made her remarks. She claimed that problems like these detract from thoughtful evaluations of Kamala’s plans. ” Talk about the fact that she does n’t believe in fracking. Tell that to the citizens in Pennsylvania”, Haley suggested. Speak about her desire to avoid discussing loan repayment. She wants to increase income. Tell that to the British citizens. Talk about the 19.5 % increase in consumer prices since Joe and Kamala were in office, she continued.
The former US ambassador to the UN and former governor of South Carolina, who believes Harris has broken promises, made some policy points. Talk about the fact that she has always supported Arab demonstrations rather than our friend Israel. When it comes to Kamala Harris, there are so many topics that we can discuss. It does n’t matter what she looks like. It matters what she said, what she’s fought for, and the lack of benefits that she’s had because of it”, Haley explained.
Haley even made some observations about new political developments in the Democratic Party. She acknowledged that she was never surprised when Harris, the running mate, withdrew from the competition. ” I was n’t surprised and I did n’t take happiness in it. Through the whole battle, I fought for cognitive skills tests. I was n’t doing it to be disrespectful. I was n’t doing it to be mean. I did it because I believe Joe Biden is not the only person who does it. In DC, there is a problem where people will run for office but wo n’t let go. And therefore their employees and their families keep up their support, which is a concern for Americans, she said.
Haley added that Harris ‘ issues spanned the US-Mexico borders and the flow of illegal immigration. ” But, I never thought he would make it to the vote. I usually said a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris, and I think that’s what’s playing out”, Haley said.
Haley acknowledged that while the Democrats had beautifully chosen a younger candidate, she believes they selected the “weakest” one probable. ” You look at the fact that Kamala… she had one task. That would address borders security and illegal immigration. She did n’t do it. Second to Bernie Sanders, she was the most liberal senator we had. You can see it playing out, whether it’s the fact that she did n’t show up at Bibi’s speech yesterday, whether it’s the fact that she pushed for all this government spending, whether it’s the fact that when she was in California, the most liberal state, there was no tax she did n’t propose. There was nothing that she did n’t want to see”, Haley noted.
Harris ‘ democratic approach, according to Haley, places her squarely at the left of President Biden. ” All of her, the stuff she’s doing from never wanting drilling to never wanting oil drilling, all of these items are very progressive. And she embodies a lot more democratic values than Joe Biden actually did. But, the fact that they put in Kamala Harris, props for putting in someone younger. She said that it will be a problem if you put in one of the most progressive politicians you definitely could have put in.
