OPINION: One associate inquiries why white people are allowed in, but never women
Intersectionality advocates will been left scratching their heads over this one because the nation’s oldest dark fraternity recognizes natural truth and just voted to forbid” trans people” from joining.
GLAAD, a team dedicated to gay rights, voted at their July agreement to “pass a proposed ordinance change that would ban transgender members.”
If implemented, the world’s oldest dark fraternity would add Phi Beta Sigma in preventing women from joining their male-only business. The shift has not been formally “ratified”, according to The Root. There are potential vote before being entirely ratified, according to , The Root.
It just follows that women should not be able to visit because clubs are only for men. Also, looking at you Kappa Kappa Gamma, people should not be allowed to join colleges.
One participant wondered why light people are allowed in, but never gender-confused women.
” Trans men are men”, a representative told GLAAD. ( As an authorized Community Note rater for X, I must chime in here and say that” trans men are not men. )
The critic said,” I really feel like at the end of the day, you should be allowed to be in fellowship with other people.”
” It does n’t sit well with me that a white man can be a member of Alpha, this historic Black institution, with no problem, but we’re going to tell Black trans men that they ca n’t”, the commentator said. ” We’ve got all types of people in this brotherhood, so to me, that’s how I look at it. It’s just another type of man”.
However, women who identify as men are never another type of person.

By not honoring” Pride Month,” the brotherhood also pushes up against the LGBT plan.
” This June, Alpha Phi Alpha did not publicly acknowledge Pride Month on its official social media pages”, GLAAD reported. According to the organization’s people, “alpha’s position, as communicated to inquiring members from regional officials, is that supporting Pride is a political act.”
Let’s make sure the fraternity helps review the next Republican Party platform because they are showing courage in upholding the reality and spiritual integrity.
