    36 people killed, 162 injured in deadly tribal conflict in Pakistan’s northwest district

    In equipped fighting between two nations in Pakistan’s volatile tribal region in the northwest, at least 36 people died, and 162 more were injured, according to authorities ‘ reports on Sunday.
    The clashes, which have been continuing for five days, erupted in Boshera community, located in the Upper Kurram city, an region known for its record of deadly conflicts among tribes, religious groups, and separatist violence, as well as violent attacks.
    The dying burdens and amount of damaged people have been confirmed by Javedullah Mehsud, the deputy director of Kurram, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border-sharing region.
    Authorities reported that a truce has been successfully negotiated between Shia and Sunni nations in Boshera, Malikhel, and Dandar places, with the assistance of tribal elders, military command, officers, and city administration.
    In some places, firing continued despite the peace. According to an established, efforts are being made to end the hostilities in the remaining sections as well.
    The cultural fighters have abandoned their tunnels, which are now under the power of law enforcement.
    The confrontations, which originated from a land dispute between the two nations four days ago, immediately spread to other areas, including Peewar, Tangi, Balishkhel, Khaar Kalay, Maqbal, Kunj Alizai, Para Chamkani, and Karman. Local residents claimed that the foe tribes engaged in heavy and superior fighting with one another using rocket launchers and mortar shells. Additionally, they mentioned that Parachinar and Sadda, the principal cities in the Kurram cultural region, were hit by cement and rocket shells.
    ” There were at least four waves of problems in past night’s gunbattle resulting in more deaths”, an established said.
    Every day life in the affected areas has been hampered by the continued violence, with all schools and marketplaces closed and customers on major roads suspended during the day. Large delegations of police and security causes have been stationed in the affected areas to keep order and security, according to officials.
