One scholar was made to declare” Free Palestine.”
The Philadelphia School District has been accused of allowing hatred to “flourish,” according to the Anti-Defamation League and the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights.
According to , The Philadelphia Inquirer, the problem adds to a previous one made in March against the state’s common Masterman pole class.
The ADL cited examples of “hostile behavior” towards Jews and Israelis such as “praising” Adolf Hitler, forcing a student to say” Free Palestine”, giving a Nazi salute to a ( Jewish ) student, and teachers making anti-Israel/anti-Zionist posts on social media.
One particular incident claimed that a teacher allegedly had 9th grade make “protest banners” for which some kids wrote” From the River to the Sea Palestine may be free” advertisements. School administrators claimed they needed the district’s proper consent to remove the posters from show after receiving a complaint.
The student’s parents complained, and until the area made a decision, which ended up being the removal of the banners and the teacher’s contract never being renewed, the student was then “without instruction” to the library.
The problem claims the city “failed to act” and “knowingly allowed” like situations.

Philly Teachers for Palestine, a class, disagreed with the problem:
The business stated in a speech that” we wish to convey that condemnation of Zionism or the Israeli government is not antisemitism, and attempts to brand it as such are not only racist, but it will also be disturbing because it will stifle any opportunity for vital thought and discussion.”
The organization emphasized the wide, multiracial coalition of educators who “firmly support racial justice and stand against murder occurring anywhere in the world” and who also include Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and agnostic educators.
The organization stated that it will continue to show Palestinians its support. The organization has pledged to continue fighting for the accents and rights of the student system, which includes Arab and Muslim students, in Gaza.
One of the ADL’s recommendations for region weather progress is acknowledging that Zionism is” a significant part of Jewish identification for some students.”
Less: Finally, the shady connection between antisemitism and oppression studies has been fully exposed.
