According to the state-run Xinhua news agency statement, a personal residence was partially destroyed by a disaster, resulting in the interment of 18 people. The flood was allegedly caused by flash flood coming from a nearby hill.
The hurt people have been taken to a hospital for treatment. According to the review, the recovery efforts have been completed, with over 300 firefighters deployed to the field.
Severe weather has plagued China this summer, including display storms that have affected both the country’s northern and southern regions. A tropical cyclone last year caused significant rainfall in different parts of China.
By July 28th, the tectonic winds associated with Gaemi had generally subsided. Gaemi had been downgraded from a tornado.
However, some areas in China remained vigilant because of the frequent risk of flooding brought on by the previous storms. Forecasters warned that Gaemi’s remnants may also result in more rain to flood cities previously soaked in water.
