The little group of puppeteers that run the almost empty shell of the former president, Joe Biden, made the decision to had him make yet another significant policy news: a basic reform of the Supreme Court, which is already Received in the Republican House. No one else cares either because everyone is aware that Kamala Harris wo n’t make any significant moves until after her re-election in November.

Yeah, you heard me.
But before we get to the White House house intrigues, this take a look at Biden’s ideas, which landed with all the power of a flat-earther’s concrete about the Apollo moon flights being faked.
After days of being teased, Biden revealed on Monday his plan to reform and remake the Supreme Court, which was still widely believed by the media to be ready and serious candidates for president.
Under Biden’s program, revealed now in a bellicose op-ed ostensibly penned by the apparent POTUS, SCOTUS judges may be term-limited to 18 years on the couch and issue to” a conditional code of conduct”. A constitutional amendment that “makes clear that former presidents who were in office do not have immunity for crimes they did” ( cringe branding ) would be the other significant reform.

President Harris almost immediately endorsed the plan, which might be its only interesting feature, at least until after the election. Biden’s flip-flop on SCOTUS is huge but should not be seen as his. However, it does serve Kamala Harris and appears to align much more closely with the views of her progressive allies than it does Biden’s prior positions on such changes, as my friend and colleague Ed Morrissey put it on Hot Air earlier today.

White House policy now serves to reelect the real acting president, not the fake acting president. Does that sound confusing, as though nobody is in charge? Well, yes. In order for there to be an orderly transfer of power, Biden’s incapacity should have caused Harris and the cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment.
But that would require political courage, something in short supply in the Biden-Harris — or is that Harris-Biden? — White House.
