Drawn Kohn, a 30-year-old Florida gentleman who miraculously recovered from a 244-day sleep had defied all health expectations, tragically lost his life on Friday in a motor vehicle accident.
Around 5:30 am, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Kohn was struck by a delivery vehicle while walking on Collins Road in Jacksonville. The driver, who reported no seeing Kohn, soon called 911, but it was too soon. Kohn was later found dead at the scene.
When a motorcycle crash left Drew Kohn with a traumatic brain injury and put him into a deep sleep, his extraordinary history of life began only weeks before his 23rd day. Doctors had considered harvesting his glands, but his family, Yolanda Osborne-Kohn, held onto unwavering trust. ” They may have harvested his tissues”, she said as quoted by WTLV-TV News. At one point, Kohn was declared brain dead, yet his family’s steadfast belief and refusal to give up kept her by his side. Following decades of intense treatment, Drew’s treatment was celebrated as a modern-day wonder. He managed to move again, defying all health objectives. His remarkable journey, however, came to an abrupt end last week when he was struck by a truck.
Osborne-Kohn thanked her for the more time she spent with her son after her heartbreaking damage. ” God honored my request, and I’m not hungry. I’m not unhappy. I’m at serenity”, she said. Osborne-Kohn takes comfort in her opinion that her son is now in sky, free from suffering. ” Drew is healed, walking, no struggling to keep his harmony”, she said. ” His shoulder is definitely lifted so higher saying’ Thank you, Jesus!’ According to the New York Post, she said,” Drew definitely has a football in one side and a Bible in the other.”
