Four Sons, Four Voices, or Four Horsemen: The Democratic Holy War Over Israel

If style, caring people ran the world, the term “holy war” may be conflicting and “war crime” redundant. But, alas, the opposite is true: War is n’t criminalized, according to international treaties, war is perfectly legal ( in way too many scenarios, anyway ). And wars are n’t just holy, according to Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and others, they’re sometimes divinely mandated – and then, it would be sinful NOT to wage war.

When you read the letters of our Founding Fathers, there’s a clear, direct connection between the Declaration of Independence and the idea of murder. Since our Creator bestows us with certain inalienable right, we, therefore, have a God-given straight to wage war and kill a king who’d deprive us of them. &nbsp,

When compared to the two, the constitutional rule of presidential impeachment directly translates to regicide: When faced with both, prosecution was in a government’s best interests because assassination would be the only way to remove an unfit leader, rendering the former president” not only deprived of his life but also the opportunity to vindicating his character.”

There’s a nonpartisan consensus that issue is spiritual and important. Alas, we just do n’t agree on when that is. Republicans and Democrats have underlying disagreements about how morality should be defined, so there is no hope for a resolution.

This does n’t mean we ca n’t work together. There is actually a respectable track record of nonpartisan cooperation when creating rules intended for purely logical reasons. When the parliamentary wheels move more quickly than we think when pragmatism is the goal rather than conscience. Typically, there’s excess, but the scales of justice tend to find an equilibrium ( more or less ). &nbsp,

Do you know why?

Verifiable laws are those that were written to improve society’s efficiency, such as those governing speed limits or drunk driving. In democracies, outcome-based laws are (usually ) our fairest laws because the inequities tend to be transparent. If there’s a methods of checking, we also know if it succeeded.

Spiritual laws – and social issues – are very different.

The problem with spiritual laws is, was, and likely always be a lack of testability. Pragmatic laws do n’t share this malady. Morality, nevertheless, is a more vague concept, laden with complex ideas that are faith-based by character and untestable by experimental science. &nbsp,

And thus we debate it.

Mankind’s greatest philosophers have sought to understand God’s holy code and decode best conscience. With reasonable argument ( and heavenly ideas, perhaps ), we should be able to agree on a public axiom: A moral law, morally applied, does not result to an evil outcome. Best? This seems to suggest at least a semblance of outcome-based tests. So… development? &nbsp,

Nope.

Logical reasoning devolves into circular reasoning: If we ca n’t agree on what defines our moral framework, then we’ll never agree on the construction of moral laws, moral outcomes, moral objectives, moral actions, or moral anything else. &nbsp,

When there’s no base, there’s no ceiling.

We now enter the Democratic Party. No longer is this the social group of your forebears. Today’s Democrats are on an exodus through the ideological wilderness, searching for a brand-new Holy Land ( or policy position ). &nbsp,

But they’re no all walking in the same way. This is a tribe with more Moses (es ) than followers.

For Jews, the yearly Easter Seder includes a history of four brothers: a clever boy, an evil brother, a simple boy, and a son incapable of speech. Perhaps it was a coincidence, or perhaps it was spiritually deliberate, but on this topic, there are now four types of Democrats. ( I’ll let you decide who’s wise, evil, etc. )

First is the classic Democrat. He or she respects Israel as a vivid, prosperous democracy in a nation that rejects American liberties. It is a gender-based, democratic society where the LGBTQ community and people are equal. These Democrats, while pro-Israel, do n’t really understand why anyone would disagree with Bibi Netanyahu’s playing footsies with the GOP, and they wish the settlements would end. Jews are a majority, and they need our help!

Demographically, this” boy” is the oldest of the boys by a large percentage. Were it not for his finances, his control within the group would be profoundly diminished.

The next group is the community Democrats. When these Democrats examine the State of Israel, they spot a group of white folks dominating the darker-skinned residents. To these Democrats, Israel is an illegal state borne of prejudice, colonialism, Islamophobia, and colonialism. By instinct, this is a group that’s frothingly antagonistic of Judeo-Christian religion anyway, so the idea of white Jews and Christians claiming that” God” gave them someone else’s land is n’t just preposterous – it’s a grave injustice. More than anything else, it REALLY fleas them off when Jews believe to be a majority, all may plainly see that they’re rich, privileged light people! But, they’re not only anti-Israel, they furthermore traffic in antisemitism.

This” boy” is the youngest in the Democratic Party. They also have the loudest and most modern voices, significantly boosting the perceived numbers. However, time is running for them. They’re growing, and the potential is ours.

Third are the disapproving Democrats ( of this policy ). For them, Israel is an unpleasant nonissue, an uncomfortable diversion. These are n’t religious people anyway, so they do n’t really have a reason to ever think about a” Holy Land”. They support progressive reasons and are excited about things like abortion, gun control, and the atmosphere, but Israel ranks up there with South Korea, Kenya, or Portugal among subjects du jour. &nbsp,

However, they’re aware that the Democrat Party has several overlapping pursuits, and as long as their pet project is n’t slaughtered, they’re willing to go with the flow. If anyone says that Israel is a critical politics and needs our help, cool, if anyone says the Palestinians are suffering and deserve concessions, that’s fine, too. Their establishing quality is apathy, while their most remarkable characteristic is their lack of unusual traits.

Of all the” sons”, this group is the largest and most demographically diverse. A sleeping huge that goes to sleep is a variety of all Democrats. But beware: The sleeping brain is an unconscious thoughts, so these Liberals are also the most pliable.

This is the brother that the others manipulate.

The ultimate” boy” is the most harmful. Socioeconomically, these Democrats are the smallest, by control, they’re – by much – the greatest. These are the Machiavellian Democrats, the political opportunists and specialized kingmakers who, in addition to being aware of the celebration divisions in Israel, intend to stifle them in order to improve their own interests. It’s more of an old–old–old school kind of politics – call it realpolitik – and its German origins are n’t the only aspect that might make Jewish Americans uncomfortable. &nbsp,

Instead of disinterest, they’re violent, instead of being guided by ethics, they’re guided by unrelenting, uncompromising, single-focused expediency. To them, it’s all outcome-based elections. Winning is the ONLY thing that counts. If it’s important today to apply racist tropes to remove Israel and beat the GOP, they’ll do but, if it’s valuable tomorrow to defend Israel and accuse MAGA of antisemitism, they’ll do that as well.

For them, the Jews and Israel are a means to an end – and an end of the beginning. It’s not personal, it’s not moral, it’s simply politics. A permanent Democratic majority is also what they dreamed of as their messianic fever.

This group plays all the angles, putting its weight on the scales, and that’s what makes it so dangerous. These Democrats have made incremental gains a reality. Israel is by no means of any kind to them; it’s a pawn they’re willing to give up without even blinking. &nbsp,

This” son” will sense that its eldest brother is sufficiently weakened when the time comes, and it will be sooner than you think. That’s when he’ll pounce, joining camp with the grassroots brother, pulling the apathetic brother along with them.

And the Democratic Party will, finally, be fully, 100 % anti-Israel. This is its ultimate destiny. &nbsp,

Call them four sons if you’re Jewish. Call them four horsemen if you’re Christian. These are the Democratic Party’s forces waging a holy war over the Holy Land, whatever they are and whatever you call them.
