After a pause in deaths during the current national election time, lots of people have been put to death in Iran over the past year.

At least 30 captives convicted of murder or opioids acts were hanged in different prison between July 20 and July 27, according to reports from Egyptian rights organizations with a foreign presence.

According to right organizations, the number of deaths had decreased in the first quarter of the year as a result of the presidential election.

They warned, however, that killings may get up after the vote.

Liberal incumbent Masud Pezeshkian won the July 5 run-off vote and took department on July 28.
