According to Cal Fire, a man has been detained for allegedly starting the Flora fire, which burned 36 hectares of Sonoma County and threatened institutions for four days before it was completely contained on Sunday. He is accused of driving his vehicle for miles without a top correct shoe.

Justin Roy Jones, 44, of Anderson, Calif., was arrested last week on fear of unjustly starting a fire to a composition, bush or house, and of violating the terms of his parole, Cal Fire said in a written statement. The man’s admitted probation violation was not disclosed by the company.

A request for comment was not instantly addressed by the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office.

The blaze broke out 4: 39 p. m. on Wednesday in the 12000 strip of Chalk Hill Road in Geyserville. Witnesses reported seeing a man driving his vehicle without a front wheel for more than four yards, sparking the truck’s rim as it slammed against the asphalt.

” This caused three separate fires along Chalk Hill Road, threatening several buildings”, Cal Fire said.

According to the fire company, the wind-driven flames threatened several buildings and burnt 36 acres for four days before coming to a full stop on Sunday. No buildings were destroyed or damaged, and no injuries were reported.
