The news internet would become viciously attacking Vice President Kamala Harris until November because she is a light-skinned Jamaican-Indian person who is married to a white man.
Rest assured that if Harris were running for president as a Republican, calling her a” D. E. I. hire” would be the sweetest thing printed about her in The New York Times. The more persistently cruel commentary would rely on her “proximity to white” and her “light-skinned opportunity”. There’s no question she’d be called a white nationalist.
We are aware of this because it is a constant retaliation for dark conservatives and Republicans from Democrats and the internet.
In 2014, Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi called Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas an “uncle Tom” who “does n’t like being black”.
As a “diversity speech,” MSNBC’s Joy Reid suggested GOP representative Byron Donalds of Florida’s nomination for the presidency in 2023.
The left-wing Salon in 2015 published an article by artist Frank Joyce claiming that former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson supports” light racist philosophy” under the article” White people had been stopped: The quite future of mankind depends on it.”
Talbert Swan, chairman of the NAACP, America’s leading competition racing operation, in April 2021 referred to GOP Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina as” Uncle Tim”. In addition, Swan referred to Scott as a” cunning white supremacy advocate who showed off his penny dancing prowess in front of the entire earth.”
Earlier that month, the Washington Post ran an op-ed by New York University Professor Cristina Beltran, who explained Trump’s increased communicate of minority voters in 2020 as a consequence of “multiracial white — the assurance that they, too, may lay claim to the politics of anger, isolation and hegemony”.
NPR immediately hosted Beltran to explain her obvious prejudice, with host Lulu Garcia-Navarro helping Beltran put it another way:” So what you’re saying, basically, is that people of other races and cultures want to profit from light privilege by supporting it”, said Garcia-Navarro. ” Right”, replied a chipper Beltran.
White supremacists who are not white are frequently depicted in media.
The Atlantic, May 2023:” Latinos Can Be White Supremacists”.
Washington Post, May 2023:” Why non-White people might advocate white supremacy”.
The Nation, July 2023:” Asian American Conservatives Have Become Key Allies of White Supremacy”.
If it’s okay to talk like this about black and brown Republicans, there’s no reason Kamala Harris is off limits. If the corrupt media were open about race, she should have no less of an interest in the politics and the circumstances surrounding her nomination.
