Tens of thousands of possible illegal votes were cast in the 2022 midterms vote, according to a complaint filed with the Georgia Secretary of State and the State Election Board at the same time.

A similar problem that the Georgia secretary of state ignored that one that claimed almost 35, 000 probably illegal votes may have been taken into account when the final count tally tallied Joe Biden as the condition winner by 11, 779 votes. And with only four months until the general election in November 2024, the state’s failure to address the issue results in chaos unless one of the candidates wins the vote in a perfect blowout.

The Georgia secretary of state and the State Election Board received a complaint on Wednesday asking for an investigation into as many as 25, 794 probably illegal votes cast during the midterm elections of 2022 by Mark Davis, president of Data Productions Inc., an analyst in voter data analysis and citizenship problems. The problem notes that under Georgia laws, people must&nbsp, vote&nbsp, in the state in which they reside unless they have changed their home within 30 times of the vote.

Nearly 25, 800 Georgia residents notified the U.S. Postal Service that they were moving permanently from one Georgia county to another one through the National Change of Address (NCOA ) processing Davis conducted. The 30-day grace period, which allows Georgia citizens to cast ballots in the state where they previously resided, prevented the change of address. All 25, 000+ voters appear to have voted in the state where they once resided, with no changes to their addresses. &nbsp,

To date, almost 8, 700 of those people have updated their driver’s licenses and/or voting licenses to their new names. The Federalist has reviewed the data under the terms of their prenuptial agreement and accepts that, as Davis claims in his problem, it provides compelling evidence that those Georgia residents had actually relocated permanently to a new state in accordance with their NCOA notices. If thus, and they also moved at the time specified, they voted illegally in the 2022 midterm election.

Additionally, as Davis stressed in his text, when casting a vote in Georgia, people execute a” Vote Certificate” attesting that they are who they say they are and live where they say they live. According to Davis ‘ problem,” That certification provides a reminder to the voting about no violating OCGA 21-2-562 by providing false information about their title or residency.”

By signing the document and then casting a vote as an unfit legislator, Georgians who cast a vote in counties where they no longer stay could possibly even be guilty of a felony in accordance with OCGA 21-2-571. According to Davis, voters may have committed a split offense under the Voting Rights Act if there is a national contest on the ballot.

Although Davis ‘ complaint relates to the 2022 midterm election, he points out that” [s]ince no substantive action has been taken to address these issues, we will undoubtedly see tens of thousands more of these residency issues in the upcoming 2024 General Election.” That seems likely given that Davis ‘ research revealed that nearly 35, 000 Georgians cast ballots that could have been in violation of state law.

With just 11, 779 seats separating Joe Biden and Donald Trump in the 2020 general election, the 30, 000-plus probably illegal votes may have caused a judge to overturn the election because, under Georgia rules, if there are more improper votes cast than the margin of victory, or if a judge sees data of” widespread irregularities”, a court can order that an election be redone. Donald Trump, in fact, relied on this evidence to challenge the Georgia election results, but a judge in Fulton County delayed filing his lawsuit until after the state had certified the results, so the court previously took the evidence into account. &nbsp,

Since then, yet, further information has bolstered Trump’s 2020 problem: More than 14, 700 of the voters updated their driver’s license or voter registration information, indicating they had, in fact, moved to the address they said they were moving to and good voted illegally in their previous county of residence.

Georgians voting illegally in counties where they do n’t live could threaten the validity of the election results if the 2020 general election comes up again in November. That remains true no matter which candidate prevails because, for all their deriding of Trump for contesting the 2020 election, Democrats, when on the losing end, bring their own legal challenges. Unlike in the case of Trump, however, Democrats will likely receive a quick hearing in Democrat-controlled counties, such as Fulton County.

Georgia and its secretary of state could face a disaster in four short months if the election results in a significant margin between the presidential candidates and the electoral counts, and the state officials are to blame themselves.

After Biden’s safe inauguration and the 2020 election challenges were over, Davis complained to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in May 2021. The secretary of state’s office agreed to investigate Davis ‘ evidence of illegal voting, but he never formally responded to that complaint. This is in contrast to Davis ‘ most recent complaint. &nbsp,

The secretary of state could have confirmed the issue, its scope, and offered suggestions for legislative branch fixes if Raffensperger’s team had done so at the time. However, doing so would have also vindicated Trump’s challenge in Georgia. So instead, the secretary of state appeared to have quietly buried the complaint.

But Davis will not be ignored. He has promised to investigate these issues until the 2024 general election, adding that “your office will continue to receive these inquiries until these issues are investigated.”

Davis, however, is not leaving the matter in the hands of the secretary of state. The State Election Board has received his complaint as well. We’ll soon find out if those board members care more about election integrity than the Georgia secretary of state, as Davis ‘ complaint is currently in the board members ‘ hands.
