WASHINGTON: Former US President Donald Trump denigrated locations across the world on Wednesday, claiming without any data that” criminals, rapists, violent gang members” and individuals from “mental organizations and stupid asylums” are pouring into the United States from South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle-East.
Trump blamed his rival, “border king” Kamala Harris, for the “gigantic invasion,” saying” she may damage our state” and that she should “get the devil out of here.” He also expanded his racist language to contain areas outside Latin America in his futuristic vision of illegal immigrants wreaking havoc on the United States.
The former president doubled down on his rant about illegal immigration, which had previously been largely focused on Central and South America, in an apparent effort to deceive him after polls showed him trailing Harris in the presidential race despite surviving an assassination attempt. Countries like Venezuela and El Salvador are releasing their prisons and mental hospitals in his iteration to purposefully send criminals and lunatics to the US, lowering crime rates there while boosting it there.
Trump’s claim that the leaders of the nations and regions he has named, as well as their US representative envoys, have lied to his MAGA crowd, is absurd is absurd.
Even though one journal warned that Trump will continue to lie about immigration because it has worked for him in the past,” but we ca n’t just ignore the vitriol he spews as if it’s normal,” fact checkers have simply thrown up their hands.

He repeats them so often they become a mantra”, the journal Bulwark said in a commentary, highlighting Trump’s thesis that the US is “being invaded by would-be Hannibal Lecters. X country ( fill in any Latin American, Caribbean or African nation you like ) is sending criminals, murderers, rapists, and insane asylum inmates to our southern border, and the Biden administration is letting them in to wreak havoc, steal jobs, killing hundreds of thousands of people a year”.
Trump is being fact-checked by the media with anodyne claims that immigrants commit crimes at lower rates than people born in the United States, which is untrue but does n’t fully address the danger of Trump’s dark obsession, it warned.
Despite having a long history of embracing a primarily black identity, Trump’s rhetoric has become particularly vicious since Kamala Harris became the Democratic nominee. In fact, Trump has even asked some non-white Democratic lawmakers to “go back to your country”.
On Thursday, some Democrats struck back, reminding the Trump campaign that his running mate’s wife is also Indian.
