The Scandal That Could Ruin Josh Shapiro’s Chances in the Veepstakes

It appears as though Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, is currently in favor of being Kamala Harris ‘ running mate.

In the past year, Shapiro has been the goal of some troubling leaks, including allegations that he reportedly hid sexual harassment at his place of employment. Progressives in the celebration are also vocal critics of his policies regarding school vouchers and the Israel-Hamas conflict. Thus far, none of these problems seem to be hurting his prospects. According to reports, Harris may look at a protest with her running mate on Tuesday in Philadelphia, Pa., and Shapiro has canceled some of his trip donations. He’s now more likely to be the man thanks to these two innovations. From Harris’s view, Shapiro had make winning Pennsylvania much more likely.

But if he’s chosen, a 2011 event from Shapiro’s moment as Pennsylvania Attorney General could be a major threat to the probable Harris-Shapiro plan.

In 2011, 27-year-old Ellen Greenberg, a first-grade instructor at Juniata Park Academy, died in an apartment she shared with her fiancé, Sam Goldberg in Manayunk. The Philadelphia Assistant Medical Examiner Marlon Osbourne discovered 20 stab and axe scars, half of which were in the back of her neck and head, on the floor of the house, and found a knife in her stomach.

” Philadelphia Medical Examiner Marlon Osbourne initially ruled her death a homicide”, NPR information, “noting the large number of stab wounds, including 10 to the back of her neck. After authorities formally challenged the results, Osbourne switched the decision to death without reason”.

Despite the uproar that it was a crime, then-AG Josh Shapiro supported the decision when the situation surfaced on his table. Some say that there is proof to support their claim that the Greenberg family has been fighting for her dying for years.

Greenberg’s families have been battling the city of Philadelphia to categorize Ellen’s suicide as a crime. According to Dr. Lindsey Emery, an associate medical examiner, she discovered that at least two stab wounds had been inflicted on Ellen after she was shot in the back of her head in 2021 when she testified in 2021 that she had reviewed Ellen’s spinal column in 2019. Despite this, then-Pennsylvania Attorney General Shapiro upheld the death decision.

However, this situation dates back more than ten years. Why will this be a issue right now? According to a report released earlier this week by CBS News,” The Pennsylvania Supreme Court will hear claims from the home of Philadelphia trainer Ellen Greenberg, whose death was declared not death as originally planned.”

Greenberg’s families have fought for years to remove the formal paperwork ruling Ellen’s dying a murder. The research was handled improperly, according to her parents ‘ professionals.

” We do n’t believe our daughter committed suicide”, Ellen’s father, Joshua Greenberg told Joe Holden last year.

Then a lengthy court battle may proceed to the next round- Pennsylvania’s highest court.

Attorney Joe Podraza told WHP-TV, a CBS-affiliated depot in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court just takes cases that it determines are important enough from a societal standpoint to take into account. Before the lawyers were informed that the case was being heard, it remained pending for about six or seven times.

On the subject of “whether investigators and health investigators have absolute power,” Podraza posed the question,” Can they be challenged when the data shows they are not only mistaken but greatly mistaken” justices will hear claims.

Although it may take more than a year for that procedure to come to an end, Shapiro’s choice presents an obvious opportunity for this situation to become a big issue in the campaign. According to his Jewish identity and support for Israel, Shapiro’s inclusion on the Democratic Party’s seat currently has a chance of distorting the party. But all the dirt on him that has been coming out wo n’t help him—or the campaign.
