CARACAS: Venezuela’s criticism head emerged from lying on Saturday, declaring” We have never been so strong”, as President Nicolas Maduro slammed what he called tries to “usurp the administration” following last year’s disputed.
In the capital of Caracas, Maria Corina Machado surprised supporters by making an unexpected appearance in a truck carrying a banner stating” Venezuela has won”! Thousands of people gathered calmly across Venezuela.
After Maduro threatened her with imprisonment following dangerous post-election protests, Machado, who had been hiding for the majority of the year, supported Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia’s election.
He was endorsed by supporters on July 28 with 67 percent of the vote, and he has been elected president-elect in many Latin American nations and the United States.
Some have called on Venezuela to release extensive vote counts, including EU says France, Germany, Italy and Spain who on Saturday noted their” solid concern” over the benefits.
Brazil, Colombia and Mexico– which have maintained excellent relations with Maduro’s authorities– urged an “impartial confirmation” of the outcome.
” We have never been so powerful as today”, Machado told the crowd, adding” the government has never been weaker”.
” We are not going to keep the roadways”, she vowed, surrounded by protection. On Saturday, Gonzalez Urrutia was not seen in public.
Donors cried out” Freedom”! as Machado’s vehicle passed by.
Adrian Pacheco, a 26-year-old store, told AFP,” Seeing her gives me hope, despite the risks. She is a mild for Venezuela”.
    – ‘ Family of all parades’-
Venezuela’s CNE vote power, devoted to Maduro, on Friday proclaimed him the victor with 52 percent of the ballot to 43 percentage for Gonzalez Urrutia, a consequence that defied pre-election elections.
In the name of “national serenity,” dozens of Maduro followers marched to the presidential palace on Saturday afternoon in northern Caracas in response to his call for” the mother of all parades.”
” We will not take” the opponent’s claims of success and moves to “usurp the president of the state again”, Maduro declared at the march.
After Venezuela’s previous vote, in 2018, Maduro was proclaimed win amid widespread accusations of fraud. Finally the United States and lots of other nations recognized the then-speaker of parliament, Juan Guaido, as Venezuela’s standing leader.
However, Maduro was not as widely anticipated as some had hoped, and the then wildly popular young politician has since become generally unpopular.
” We are at the beginning of a new century, the time of the combination of the rebellion, the age of well-being”, 69-year-old doctor Ali Garcia said at the march.
Maduro, 61, has slammed the international criticism, describing allegations of vote fraud as a” trap” orchestrated by Washington to justify” a coup”.
Gonzalez Urrutia’s victory has been highlighted on a website that hosts editions of 84 percent of the votes cast. These are allegedly fake, according to the authorities.
Maduro has led the oil-rich, cash-poor state since 2013, presiding over a GDP decline of 80 percentage that pushed more than seven million of once-wealthy Venezuela’s 30 million people to flee.
Experts attribute the crumble to US sanctions and economic mismanagement.
Maduro has maintained strength thanks to devotion from the military leadership, political bodies, courts and additional state institutions, as well as the support of Russia, China and Cuba.
    – Security-
On Saturday, Maduro added that “military and police patrols” would continue to be conducted” to protect the people” throughout the nation.
In protests on Monday and Tuesday, Venezuelans who were enraged and took to the streets, rights groups reported 11 dead.
Maduro said two officers were killed, and 2, 000 people detained. He claimed that his administration was setting up two maximum-security cells to house prisoners who engaged in protests.
According to the State Department, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with Machado and Gonzalez Urrutia on Friday and expressed “his concern for their safety and well-being.” He also thanked Gonzalez Urrutia for receiving the most votes.
On Saturday, Venezuelan immigrants from cities all over the Americas gathered to protest Maduro and his victory claims.
” We do n’t want violence, we just want him to leave, we only want peace”, 43-year-old Maudie Lopez, a crafts worker, told AFP in Colombia’s capital Bogota, where hundreds joined in song and prayer.
” I want to return to my country”.
About three million Venezuelans who have fled since Maduro’s rule have been residing in Colombia.
