By holding talks and facilitating a vow between Hamas, Fatah, and 14 other Arab organizations to “end section and strengthening Arab unity,” China is still successful in winning propaganda. Following a Chinese-brokered breakup between Syria and the Muslim League in May and Iran and Saudi Arabia’s in March, both of these events follow.

The CCP’s state-run media was quick to use the Arab unity charter as propaganda of China’s achievements in politics. In another Global Times article, a Taiwanese university dean bragged that” China is now becoming a popular place for various nations who are suffering from panic and wars around the world seeking calm solutions.” A third Global Times article praised” Beijing’s unique diplomatic mediation model” as “provid]ing ] new ideas and positive energy for peace and stability in the Middle East”, and that China’s” ]d ] ialogue rather than confrontation, partnership rather than alliance, win-win rather than zero-sum game” approach is” …a public good in the Middle East”. With its rich history and realistic resources in this area, China is the most qualified to discuss national unity, according to another content from Global Times. That essay of training did not mention China’s harsh suppression of the Hong Kong activists, and its mass incarceration of its Uyghur and Falun Gong groups, all done in the name of “national unity”, nor did the article recognize the fact that most of Taiwan’s people opposes “unification” with China.

The CCP’s praise of leaders and other countries ‘ officials helped to further strengthen its claim that the meeting was a political success for China. Citing Mustafa Barghouti, secretary-general of the Palestinian National Initiative, one International Times newspaper stated that China’s political program, which was “very good and honest”, went “much more” than any earlier efforts in peace. According to Xinhua, Iran’s Foreign Ministry praised the discussions as” a significant step in the right direction.” A China Daily newspaper cited additional compliments from the United Nations, the Palestinian Authority, the European Union, Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey and Oman.

The CCP reaffirmed China’s commitment to being impartial and intelligent in its foreign policy by using the unity charter. ” China’s independent position, completely from selfish motives or passions, has garnered increasing trust from the global community”, boasted a Global Times newspaper. According to one pundit in China Daily,” This intervention was n’t just about China’s diplomatic efforts; it was also about the wider acceptance of China’s philosophy of joint development over conflict.” China’s commitment to fairness and justice distinguishes its role in the Middle East from those of other world power. China has “maintained comparatively friendly ties with all nations in the region without taking factors,” according to another critic in China Daily, in contrast to Western governments, which frequently pursue self-serving goals.

The CCP vilified the US and the West by using China’s victory in facilitating the cohesion declaration. China is better poised to dealer serenity, because its approach is one of” sincerity and brotherhood” and “fairness and impartiality”, contrasted with the West’s “often simplistic relationship” and “divide-and law plans”, according to one newspaper in China Daily. China also” …played a positive role by putting the two groups]Fatah and Hamas ] back on the same table. In contrast, the US turned out to be more destructive and destabilizing, and failed to follow through on its promises”, stated the executive director of the Research Center for the Belt and Road at Lanzhou University, as cited by Global Times. &nbsp, Throwing Israel under the bus, one China Daily editorial stated that” Western nations, particularly the United States, have consistently favored Israel, hindering genuine progress toward peace. In contrast, China’s stance of fairness and justice, offers a viable path forward”. China “does not attempt to dominate the Middle East,” according to that commentator, and” China’s only goal is to promote peace.”

As Hamas ‘ war against Israel continues, and Hezbollah will inevitably increase attacks on Israel following its murder of 12 Israeli Druze children on a soccer field, will China’s actions increasingly impede Israel’s ability to self-defense?
