In the last week, Israel has boldly asserted its right to exist. As we approach the second anniversary of 10/7, the biggest murder of Immigrants since the Holocaust, Israel has just scored some great strikes in its worldwide battle. Importantly, Israel has been able to eliminate Hamas ‘ military commander and 10/7 genius Mohammed Deif, Hizballah military commander and 1983 Marine camp bombing genius Fuad Shukr, and Hamas head Ismail Haniyeh, all of which the major media is calling an “escalation”.

As Greta Thunberg, the baby prophet and wagon Arab advocate, does suggest to Israel:” How dare you”?
All this Jewish defense “escalation” reminds me of the time in 1942 when a bunch of persistent Jews in Warsaw fiercely rose up against the peaceful, innocent Germans. Or when rival Jews fought valiantly to escape the Sobibor focus camp in 1943. During these Israeli “escalations”, a number of Germans were killed. Family people. People with hopes and dreams. People resisting bourgeois colonization. Men just trying to reclaim their ancestral homeland, from the ( Rhine ) river to the ( Black ) Sea, that the colonialist Allied powers had stolen from them and given to others. How able they?
But up to this past year. Media and state representatives broke Olympic information by declaring that Haniyeh was only Hamas ‘ “political” head and not some kind of “boots-on-the-ground military superstar in the midst of Rafah street fighting. Haniyeh was brought to room temperature in his Tehran guest home. Ok, so Haniyeh was a political leader. So what? Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi or Osama bin Laden both have similar opinions. Or Stalin or Hitler. What’s your point?
Oh, that’s right, your point is to try to paint Israel in the worst possible light.
These politicians and journalists are voicing their concern that Haniyeh’s death could spark a second world war. Israel “dramatically increased the risk of further escalation of regional hostilities,” according to The Financial Times. They questioned whether or not Shukr’s bombing of twelve Israeli soccer players had caused those same tensions, noting that they “had already soared” in the area since Shukr’s death.

The Associated Press yelled out that Haniyeh’s murder “risikoted escalating into a regional war.” But apparently, 10/7 lacked this escalation power. Dead infidels are business as usual, a price we need to accept for “regional stability”, whether in Israel, Europe, or elsewhere. Dead terrorist leaders? That brings the nuclear clock to 11: 59: 59 PM.
Potemkin cutout Joe Biden mumbled that Haniyeh’s assassination “does n’t help” the cease-fire talks. Yeah, it was n’t supposed to help. An organization of genocidal maniacs who only accept cease-fires as tactical stepping stones in the direction of their psychotic goals were supposed to be further diminished by this.
UK Foreign Minister David Lammy warned against “regional destabilization”. It’s a good thing Winston Churchill did n’t stop at a regional destabilization during the London Blitz to consider whether a military attack on Germany would result in regional destabilization. Good thing Abraham Lincoln did n’t think about how the conflict would escalate if there was a military response to the Fort Sumter attack.
The “hostilities” have been ongoing since a Meccan merchant and likely schizophrenic declared himself God’s prophet and began butchering his way across the Arabian Peninsula, according to our historically challenged friends in the media. Because the medieval West lacked the cohesion and unity needed to deliver a successful response, what started as regional quickly spread to global. The contemporary West also lacks the moral convictions to do so.
With hindsight, this past year has revealed two ugly realities: one for Israeli Jews and the other for American Jews. Jews in Israel are beginning to realize that the American Democrat Party’s anti-Israel movement during the Obama administration was more than just an anomaly. It’s permanent, and it’s entrenching itself daily. President Biden, Vice President Harris, and a significant number of Democrat representatives are openly siding with, and funding, Israel’s terrorist enemies.  ,

If Democrats ever offer support, it would be wise to take into account the likelihood that current and future Israeli policymakers will only have limited and extremely conditional support. A few Jewish representatives and Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa. ) ca n’t reverse this realignment. The Democrat Party’s future and present are The Squad.
The lesson for American Jews is the same as it was on October 8 when campus Kristallnacht mobs and their supportive professors celebrated the murder, rape, and torture of your brethren. And the lesson is this, once again for the cheap seats: The Left is not your friend.  ,
The low-simmering antisemitism that you tolerated, ignored, or excused for years away has now exploded into the open. Stop being so self-centered and accept that you have been duped. The keffiyeh-clad Marxists who have spent the past two semesters overrunning campuses, blocking traffic, and attacking Jews in public are the real threat to your existence, not from flyover-style Beaufort the Bible Thumper.
They do n’t hate Israeli Jews. They hate Jews. They do n’t hate Orthodox Jews. They hate Jews. They do n’t hate identifiable Jews. They hate Jews. The upscale, temple-shunning, progressive Jew in name only is a scapegoat for the world’s problems just as much as the payot-sporting Haredi from Crown Heights.
They. Hate. Jews. What about this do you still not understand?
The irony is that most Leftists ca n’t explain anything about Judaism or any other religious faith to you, despite the fact that the Left does n’t hate Jews for their religion. Jews were blasphemy by Jews, which is why the Left despises them. Jews are a prosperous minority, which is admirable given that they have endured persecutions far worse than any other group striving to maintain the status quo in the perpetual victimization of the intersection. Jews refused to be victims. As such, their very existence is a perpetual heresy. For this, the Left never forgave them. And they never will.

Jewish Americans can no longer accept the idea that the issue is “over there” or that ultra-Orthodox must deal with it. It’s here on your campus, in your workplace, and on your streets. And conservatives and Christians are the only ones who have consistently defended you during this period. My mind is completely blown by the fact that any Jewish American would continue to vote Democrat. You’re casting your ballot for those who are willing to ignore the possibility of its recurrence for what fundamental issue, specifically? Climate change? Abortion? How many hours are Indigenous Drag Queen stories?
Our upcoming election will be as close as it can be, which speaks volumes about our country’s moral collapse. Kamala Harris belongs in a museum, and anthropologists are trying to figure out how someone with such a terrible rises so quickly. She could win, in large part because more American Jews would support this bigoted DEI candidate than any other president in the fight for Israel’s peace and security since its founding.
So, if you will, choose Kamala. That’s your right, fought for, and secured by people who are far more knowledgeable than you about identity politics ‘ dangers. But keep in mind that you can never legitimately complain about Jews being persecuted because you voluntarily voted for it.
