
According to US defense authorities, a suspected jet attack on an Iraqi military base on Monday left a number of US military personnel injured.

A recent flurry of jet attacks have targeted the Ain al-Assad base in eastern Iraq, where American troops and members of the US-led coalition are based.
The assault on al-Asad heat base in Iraq was confirmed by Iraqi security officials, but no party has claimed responsibility. According to US defense officials, the soldiers stationed at the bottom are currently assessing the extent of the damage being caused by the strike.
A US defense spokesman said that the base immediately was the subject of a” suspicious jet attack” against US and coalition causes. There are primary indications that several US staff were hurt.
” Center workers are conducting a post-attack damage analysis” and updates will be provided as more information becomes available, the director added.
After a short while, Iranian-backed militias in Iraq have just resumed their attack on US defense installations in Syria and Iraq.
Following a late-January attack on a foundation in Jordan that left three US soldiers dead and sparked a number of retaliatory strikes by American forces, the attacks resumed.
A partnership known as the Islamic Resistance in Iraq had been constantly claiming duty for problems between October and January, claiming that they were carried out in response to” Washington’s aid of Israel in its battle against Hamas in Gaza” and to compel American forces to leave the area.
