Minneapolis, ground zero for the Defund the Police action, is not the kind of position you park your car with trust. Some years after George Floyd’s death on May 25, 2020, the town statistics one vehicle fraud an hour.
In 2020, protesters stormed the abandoned Minneapolis officers station on Lake Street and abandoned by policemen. It is still vacant. The tower is surrounded by high decking and weedy areas. There are no programs to recover.  ,  ,

Can’t stop the rising murder rate from hiding the constant smell of heroin in the air or stop the proliferation of vibrant paintings on unfilled businesses along Lake Street. The poor frequently wait in line for free sandwiches that a vehicle that delivers goods near Lake Street.
A” transformed” law enforcement system aimed at “recognising the society and legal privileges of society people” and “addressing race-based police” is being implemented through a acceptance order signed by the town and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights.
Despite decades to repair, Minneapolis has no healed since the 2020 protests that burned the town. Damaged companies are unoccupied. Cities that were flattened by tornadoes have recovered more quickly.  ,

Gov. of Minnesota threw bricks through windows and Molotov cocktails into houses as rioters swarms of people poured bricks through panels. Tim Walz’s slower response was criticized. The undamaged looted shops unrestrained, blocked bridges, and intimidated the country while Walz waited three times before eventually activating the National Guard at 2: 30 p. m. on Thursday, May 28.  ,
The turmoil sparked copycat protests in different American cities that continued night after night, encouraged by his silence. Shocked Americans tuned in to the information in amazement, watching as death reigned behind lying broadcasters, some describing the images as “mostly peaceful”.
Walz was the first governor to allow the city to burn, but he has n’t made Minneapolis whole since. He has continued to work on other priorities, including passing a law making it harder for parents to keep sexually explicit novels out of public and school books. He has also signed a bill that would permit abortion without restrictions.
Walz’s efforts have resulted in his elevation to the Democratic vice presidential race.
” As a government, a trainer, a teacher, and a former, he’s delivered for working people like his”, his running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris, said of Walz in a Tuesday statement on social media.
For her part, Harris did little to suppress the 2020 crowd in Minneapolis. She rather successfully endorsed the loss by urging the community to contribute to the Minnesota Freedom Fund to aid in the release of protesters.
Harris has also promoted defunding police, a position that does n’t seem to align with her current claim that she is a tough-on-crime prosecutor.  ,  ,  ,
