Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the son of ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, asserted on Wednesday that Bangladesh’s politics and elections are impossible without the support of the country’s largest and oldest group, the Awami League. In a video concept, he addressed the latest govt:” We also want a democrat, peaceful and secure state. For that, we are ready to explore with people, only if they eliminate violence and crime. Sheikh Hasina has never passed away. We did n’t go anywhere. Without the Awami League in Bangladesh, politics and elections are not feasible. In Bangladesh, there are racial unrest and political turmoil.
Without the Awami League, it is necessary to create a fresh political Bangladesh. It is the biggest group. It will not go somewhere. He continued, pointing out that Hasina’s family must be involved in the current circumstances despite earlier assurances that they would not run for office.” It is impossible to stop Awami League,” he said. He exhorted party executives to remain strong. ” Have up with confidence. We are around. Bangabandhu’s home did not go anywhere. We are with you. We are ready to do whatever is required..”.
