In response to growing concerns about an expanding conflict with Iran, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA ) has urged President Joe Biden to unblock any and all pending U.S. weapons shipments to Israel.
Following the death of Hamas democratic head Ismail Haniyeh in a bombing in Tehran on July 31st, both the United States and Israel have been on high alert. Iranian officials quickly attributed the blame to Israel and the United States as its allies despite Haniyeh’s death’s no-one claiming role.
Within days of the July 31 fire, Egyptian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei , declared , Iran is duty-bound to kill Haniyeh.
Gen. Hossein Salami, the head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps ( IRGC ) continued to , suggest , a” strong response” was coming Israel’s way on Monday.
” Any invasion by Iran against Israel or British interests may be unjustified and met with significant army”, Johnson , said , Tuesday. To give a strong concept against Iran and its terrorist intermediaries, America and our allies and partners in the region may work together to do the same.

Johnson remarked that the White House needs to acknowledge that their choices have caused us to face disaster and to help Israel without any restrictions. In order for Israel to protect its people and deter Iran, President Biden had instantly release all of its previously withheld and delayed weapons, and state that any attack by Iran would have significant economic, martial, and global repercussions.

S. contractors were injured when a pair of rockets struck the Asad Airbase in Iraq on Aug. 5. CENTCOM said the post-strike analysis continues, but that all seven people are in steady state. Five of the injured workers were being treated at the Asad Airbase, according to the U.S. military order, while two more were being taken to a different hospital for treatment.
On Monday and Tuesday, the Israeli government reported dramatic targets in the Gaza Strip that targeted Hamas. Additionally, they made claims that they were pursuing Hezbollah officials and suspected Hezbollah locations in southern Lebanon.
