At a new election rally, Celine Dion reacted harshly to Donald Trump’s usage of her renowned music” My Heart Will Go On.” The trail, which Dion wrote and performed for the 1997 movie Titanic, was played at a protest in Montana on Friday, accompanied by a picture of the song on a large panel.
On X, Dion’s supervision team and Sony Music Entertainment Canada stated in a statement that “in no method” it was permitted to use the music and videos. The declaration continued,” Celine Dion does not accept this or any similar use … And really, It song”?
Users of the hashtag” My Heart Will Go On” have been sharing images of Trump’s strategy and the sinking ship from the Titanic movie in droves on social media. The comparisons, which are lighthearted but important, highlight how Trump’s campaign is currently facing more difficulties than ever since Kamala Harris took over as the party’s nominee for president.
Following Biden’s departure from the competition on July 21, Trump’s campaign has been under strain. It was formerly seen as a strong candidate for the White House. Harris, who has gained momentum since Biden’s withdrawal, announced Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her vice-presidential running mate, more strengthening her charge.
Released on Dion’s record Let’s Talk About Love and the Titanic music,” My Heart Will Go On” became a worldwide phenomenon, selling 18 million copies and earning Blake an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and some Grammys. Dion made headlines last month by performing from the Eiffel Tower at the beginning of the Paris Olympics in spite of current health issues that caused her to cancel trip dates for 2023 and 2024 according to an autoimmune condition.
The song’s discussion highlights the difficulties and investigation that Trump and Harris are facing as the 2024 presidential election draws near.
