Democratic vice presidential nominee JD Vance echoed past president Donald Trump’s assertion that British voters prefer the presidential candidate over the vice presidential nominee in a new interview.
Vance, speaking with” Face the Nation” number Margaret Brennan, aligned with Trump’s claim that the vice presidential selection has little impact on citizens. Vance said,” I believe most persons were choosing Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.” He compared Trump’s administration, which he compared to Harris ‘ record of having an open borders and declining income amid rising inflation and living expenses, while highlighting accomplishments like rising wages and a secure border.
Prior to the National Association of Black Journalists ‘ event in Chicago on July 31st, Trump had a Q&A with Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner that day. When questioned about Vance’s readiness to believe the presidency, Trump remarked,” Historically the choice of a vice chairman makes no difference”.
