Police are looking for a suspect who reportedly opened flames at the University of California, Berkeley on Thursday night, the college announced.
The UC Berkeley Police Department responded to a record of shots at 7: 40 a. m. at the school’s Clark Kerr and Hill colleges. The photos were reported close to the school trail, according to local media stores.
No injuries have been reported, the university said.
The suspect, who has not been arrested, was described as a person with “bleached” locks with reddish or orange features carrying a purple backpack and wearing a black shirt and black trousers, authorities said.
The college advised people to stay inside the Clark Kerr and Hillside colleges if possible.
