The Harris-Walz campaign reacted to the continued controversy over Tim Walz’s martial history and whether he opted out of the company just before his unit deployed to Iraq, claiming that in 2018 he was “misspoke” when he mentioned carrying arms in a war. After Walz’s rival senator in Ohio, JD Vance, claimed Walz had” stolen valor” and that he had never gone to war, the movie came out again.
Governor Walz expressed his gratitude to Senator Vance for putting his life on the line for our nation, saying that he would never attack or disparage any American who served this nation. The Harris campaign spokesman told NBC News in a speech that it was done the American way.
The Governor made a mistake in arguing that weapons of war should never be found on our roads or in schools. He handled weapons of war, according to the spokesperson, and he thinks just military personnel who are trained to have those deadly weapons should be able to access them, in contrast to Donald Trump and JD Vance, who place our children first and foremost on the gun lobby.
Harris-Walz strategy: ‘ Stolen valor’ hit difficult
Kamala Harris ‘ going partner Tim Walz served 24 years in the defense. However, JD Vance claimed that he never participated in any wars but that he had spoken about” carrying arms” during combat. Tim Walz left the service in 2005 to prevent being deployed, according to JD.
” I spent 25 years in the Army and I hunt. We can conduct background checks, so I’ve been supporting common sense policy that protects the Second Amendment. We can study the effect of firearm violence. In the popular movie, which Harris plan also shared, Tim Walz said,” We can create positive those weapons of war that I carried in battle are simply carried in battle.”
” I wonder Tim Walz, when were you ever in battle? What weapons did you use to fight in battle? This stolen fortitude garbage about Tim Walz bothers me. Do not believe to be something that you’re not”, Vance said raising the issue.
Tim Walz trained in carrying weapons, according to the Harris campaign’s earlier speech, and he thanks JD Vance for putting his life on the line for the nation. He pledged to not attack or denigrate any American who served the country.
