Alicia Powers, a shop owner based in the Berkshires area of Massachusetts, was apologised for her actions after footage that was posted on social media that showed people forcefully entering the building’s restrooms during the company’s safety procedures for a local charity for Vice President Kamala Harris.
According to Melissa McKenzie, a spokesman for the Secret Service,” The Secret Service has since spoken with the business owner who is impacted.” Our personnel had never enter a business without the owner’s permission, nor do we give them any of these relationships.
He claimed that “everything I did was done pretty bad.” Without my consent, they were never supposed to strip my camera. They were not supposed to enter the tower without authority, Powers told Business Insider.
The incident occurred after a Secret Service agent tampered with a security cameras inside Four One Three Salon in Pittsfield, according to the shop owner, who owns Four One Three Salon. He then used tape to break into the lock, allowing unauthorized access to her business and using the toilet.
According to the video images that was available, Powers claimed that the restroom’s guards included two people wearing emergency health gear, a person wearing camouflage law-enforcement uniform, and a man wearing a black suit and a white shirt that resembled a Secret Service agent.
A Secret Service agent made the unwavering commitment to not forcefully enter properties in this way.
The consultant, however, did not refute the claim that an officer had taped Powers ‘ camera, which the surveillance system had done, and that the rep had also made an appearance to officer a mea culpa, according to The New York Post.
The incident, according to the show’s owner, took place on July 27, just before Harris ‘ first major face-to-face charity event since President Biden withdrew from the competition, allowing the vice president to win the Democratic nomination.
The shop, situated behind Colonial Theatre, served as the place for Harris ‘ meeting. The landlord mentioned that her salon had to be closed down before the charity, according to The New York Post.
She told the outlet,” They had a number of people in and out of around doing a few explosive sweeps once — completely understand what they have to do, given the nature of the situation,” adding,” They had a bunch of people in and out of these doing a few bomb blasts again.”
” And at that point, my team felt like it was a little bit chaotic, and we just made the decision to close for Saturday,” she added.
