All 62 passengers were killed when an ATR-72 propeller operated by local carrier Voepass collided on Friday in a private area close to Sao Paulo. The plane was en route from Cascavel to Sao Paulo when it went down around 1: 30 am local period in Vinhedo, about 80 km ( 50 kilometers ) northwest of the city.
initial investigation and treatment of a black field
Brazil’s aviation crash research center, Cenipa, has recovered the jet’s black package, which includes essential voice recordings and flight data. A preliminary report is expected within 30 days, according to Cenipa’s mind. The team reportedly sent no incident signals, so the aircraft lost radar contact at 1:22 p.m. after failing to respond to communication attempts.
    Crash situation
Before the aircraft began to descend in a spiral, hear videos show clear skies. To determine the reason of the accident, experts are now looking at a number of different variables.
    Probable causes and professional opinions
    Conditions problems:
Investigators will study the plane’s engine and power systems, according to US aircraft safety expert Anthony Brickhouse. According to preliminary evaluations, snow accumulation may have been a factor. Although it was expected to be reasonable, Voiepass had predicted glaciers at the plane’s altitude. According to video evidence, Portuguese aircraft expert Celso Faria de Souza has a strong belief that ice was a significant factor. ATR-72 helicopters have had previous issues with frosting, including a deadly 1994 collapse in Indiana and a 2016 event in Norway.
    Engine loss:
John Hansman, a professor at MIT, compared the crash’s video and suggested engine failure, more than weather, may be to blame. He suggested that if the team had not properly managed the jet’s upward movement, it might have been due to a breakdown on one side of the website.
    Many factors:
Robert A Clifford, an attorney who has handled similar cases, pointed out that weather wrecks usually result from a combination of variables, including snow, website loss, and human error.
Authorities and experts will work together to identify the precise causes of this horrible event as the research progresses.
