Donald Trump, the former US president, spoke with Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Twitter’s system X during an interview with the former US president.
In a particular conversation with Putin about Ukraine, Trump made reference to that conversation. ” We did talk a lot about Ukraine. It caught his eye, too. But I said,’ Do n’t ever do it. Do n’t ever do it,'” Trump told Musk.
” I said to Vladimir Putin,’ Do n’t do it. You ca n’t do it, Vladimir. You do it, it’s gonna be a bad time. You cannot do it.’ And I told him things that what I do, and he said,’ No means,’ and I said,’ Way,’ and you know, it’s the last day we ever had the talk”.
The previous president highlighted his friendship with the Russian president, saying,” I know Putin really well. I really liked him. He gave me due respect. And it’s just one of those items. And he would, we do talk a lot about Ukraine. It was the apple of his eye, but I said, do n’t ever do it”.
Trump even refrained from expressing his reluctance while in office. ” They say I loved Russia, I was a friend of Putin, and I loved Russia.
