Joe Biden, president, is working to serve his campaign promise to eliminate student debt in his final months in office.
After an appeals court partially enjoined its use next year despite a ruling against him over a similar program last month, Biden is asking the Supreme Court to remove a block from its Saving on a Valuable Education program. The White House says it’s on solid legal footing.
In response to a problem from the Washington Examiner, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Wednesday,” We believe in the legal validity of those guidelines.” ” We’re always assured on that earth”.

Republicans claim that by attempting to cancel student loans on his own, Biden is usurping both the higher court and Congress. Jean-Pierre claimed that the chairman thinks and has already cancelled$ 168 billion in loans despite setbacks in court. Biden’s plans may charge citizens hundreds of billions more if they were fully implemented.

But that did n’t stop me”.

Although she backed Biden’s$ 10, 000 commitment in 2020, she did not release a comprehensive economic program or make any specific promises regarding student funding. Both Biden and Harris have fresh presentations coming, according to Jean-Pierre.
