Milan Dimitrov, a regional of Bulgaria, has been extradited to the United States where he is accused of participating in a plot to import sensitive nanotechnology to Russia improperly.
According to the indictment, Dimitrov, 50, used a Russian firm to receive export-controlled products from the United States and send them to Russia without the necessary licenses between at least May 2014 and May 2018.
After being extradited from Greece on August 12, Dimitrov made his first appearance in court, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
