In its continued rude against Russian forces, Ukraine claimed control of 1,150 square kilometers of land and 82 towns, including the city of Sudzha, which is located only eight kilometers away from the Russian border. The Russian military’s action is the largest international army’s offensive against Russia since World War II.
” We have taken control of 1, 150 square meters of place and 82 towns”, said major military commander Oleksandr Syrsky.
The Russian rude, launched on August 6, comes after over two decades of opposition against Russia’s invasion, marking a pivotal time in the fight. Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, praised the military’s efforts and praised the release of the city of Sudzha from the Russian government.
    Russia’s comment and movement crisis
In reaction, Russia claimed to have taken control of a town in the Kursk border area and that it would send more troops to Belgorod to bolster its threats. The army was completely destroyed and power of the colony of Krupets was restored, according to the Russian defense ministry.
Over 120, 000 Russians are attempting to flee or be evacuated from the borders areas as a result of the issue. According to reports from Kursk, hundreds of survivors have been seeking food and shelter, with some reporting fear and uncertainty about the ongoing conflict.
” I was really scared, really scared. Shell were flying from all edges”, said Nina Golinyaeva, an escapee from Sudzha.
    Effects on civilians
Since the beginning of the battle, Russian officials have reported at least 12 deaths and 121 injury to civilians. In Sumy, Ukraine, onlookers gathered at an Catholic church to pay their respects to six men who were killed in the battle. As a chorus sang hymns, the pain of the loss was evident, and the air was filled with incense.
” Our job is to beg for our heroic soldiers and their people”, a pastor told mourning, as casket carried the graves for burial.
    Ongoing problems in Donbas
Russian troops are still under a lot of pressure on the eastern forward, particularly in the Donbass region, despite the improvements on Russian territory. Zelensky acknowledged the continued problems, stating that “most Russian problems are taking position” in Donbas, where Russian forces are focused on maintaining a defensive place.
Additionally, Russian forces gained more territory in the eastern Donetsk area, including the retaken of the town of Ivanivka, a crucial area close to Pokrovsk, a long-standing target for Russia.
As the issue gets worse, the situation on the ground is still smooth, with both parties gearing up for more hostilities in a war that is rifeing no signs of abating.
