Former US president Donald Trump defended his new specific attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris, saying his remarks are unjustifiable because he lacks admiration for her. He was speaking from his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey. Trump’s latest news conference, his next in a year, focused strongly on Harris, prices, and his promotion strategy.
” I think I am entitled to individual problems. I do n’t have much of respect for her. I do n’t have a lot of respect for her intelligence, and I think she’ll be a terrible president”, Trump said. He more criticized Harris, saying,” She’s never– she’s not wise. I do n’t believe she loves our country”, reported ABC News.
” Some people say,’ Oh, why do n’t you be nice?’ But they’re no good to me. They want to place me in jail”, Trump complained. ” They do n’t want me to be a little bit nasty. They want to place me in jail. Me”!
Trump’s comments came amid rising inflation fears. He claimed that Harris has simply declared that tackling inflation may be her top priority on Day One and that a sign affixed to the things read” Price increases since Kamala Harris took office” was displayed. But Day 1, actually, for Kamala was three and a half years earlier. Where has she been”?
While Trump argued that his accusations were required, he faced concerns about the possible effect on his position with residential people, reformers, and politicians, reported ABC News.
He defended his campaign as” a very quiet plan,” contrasting his strategy with what he saw as extreme actions by his rivals. ” No, I think that, I think somewhat to what they’re doing and how dramatic they are and how, in many ways, how bored they are, I think I’m doing a pretty quiet plan. I mean, we’re around. There’s no shouting”.
Trump defended his reward for Elon Musk and his position on work issues in his comment about striking staff. Trump disputed statements that he advocated for firing dramatic employees, saying,” No, I want firms to find staff who are going to love them and work for a salary that lets the organization make a profit.”
The Harris strategy has cited Trump’s claims to condemn and discredit his policies. ” Trump did the only thing he knows how to accomplish– he went out and lied, made up stories, mingled up dates, attacked the media”, said the Harris strategy in a statement.
In response to concerns about Harris’s internet relationship, Michael Tyler, communications director for the Harris-Walz plan, assured that Harris may participate in discussions and press events before the end of the month.
