What Did the CCP Get in Return for Helping to Fund Tim Walz’s China Travel Business?

The Chinese Communist Party retaliated on pro-democracy demonstrations in 1989 with tanks and bullets. Who can ignore the Tiananmen Square wayward protester’s tragic scene of a lone rebel being crushed to death? Tim Walz flew to China the following month on a plane with products and a salary that was unheard of among local Chinese teachers. &nbsp,

Walsh was a member of the first group of American instructors to be allowed to educate in China through a program at Harvard University, according to his parliamentary history, which states that he taught high school there between 1989 and 1990.

Upon returning home, &nbsp, his town newspapers reported&nbsp, that he had received “royal care” during his time there. ” No matter how much I live, I’ll not be treated that also again”, Walz told the newspaper. They gave me more presents than I could send home, they said. He was given a furnished house that “also had a color television and a radio stereo.” His give, 650 yuan or$ 80 per month, was double the income of other instructors”.

” I was treated exceedingly well”, he told the Star-Herald at the time. ” There was no anti-American feeling whatsoever” .&nbsp,

On the windows of his class office, he displayed a” Chinese symbol and pieces from news accounts of his trips” after returning home. &nbsp,

Tim Walz started accepting donations from the CCP for his innovative student commerce company shortly after the tragic Tiananmen Square murder, which took place just four years later. &nbsp,

The Times-Herald reported in 1993 that Walz “got the plan while working as a professor in China three years ago.” A companion assisted in getting in touch with the government, and funding from the government was granted in April. That “friend” worked in China’s international affairs office. &nbsp,

While students and sponsors were required to raise$ 1, 500 each for the trip, “lodging, food and other costs in China are being picked up by the government” .&nbsp,

” We do n’t think a high school group has gone that ( Chinese authorities have ) paid a large part of the costs”, Walz bragged. While in China, Walz, who was then a part of the Army National Guard, told pupils to “downplay their American-ness”. according to the report. &nbsp,

According to a record in the Daily Mail, &nbsp,

Seven students apparently received$ 800″ shark bursaries” the next month to cover the costs.

The fellowships were sponsored by Walz, his family, and ‘ the Taiwanese state’.

It was” not remarkable” that Tim Walz’s student exchange trips to China were funded by the Chinese government in the 1990s, according to Michael Sobolik, senior fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council.

‘ By Walz’s own entrance, it was strange that the authorities “paid a huge part of the cost”. ‘

Tim Walz and his family Gwen travelled to China on one of the pupil junkets, apparently with the CCP paying the price. They spent their honeymoon that on one of the student junkets. On the occasion of the 4th celebration of the murder in Tiananmen Square, the Walz’s were wed. &nbsp,

It appears that the CCP got what it’s money’s worth if it offered Walz travel benefits in exchange for some positive push. &nbsp, As reported by the Alliance Times-Herald in 1991, &nbsp, Walz praised communism, explaining to students that “everyone is the same and everyone shares” .&nbsp,

” The physician and the construction worker make the same. Accommodation and 14 pounds, or about 30 pounds of rice are provided by the Chinese government and the place where they work.

As my school Ben Bartee reported these last year, House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer requested information from FBI Director Christopher Wray regarding Walz’s relations to the CCP as part of the agency’s investigation into “into CCP penetration and control operations” in the U.S., as my school Ben Bartee reported here. &nbsp,

    The email noted: &nbsp,

Recent reports reveal that Governor Walz has tense ties to the People’s Republic of China ( PRC ). In 1993, according to the Star-Herald, as a tutor, Mr. Walz organized a trip to the PRC for Alliance High School students, where prices were paid by the Chinese government. In 1994, Mr. Walz set up a personal company named “Educational Travel Adventures, Inc.”, which coordinated monthly student visits to the PRC until 2003, and was led by Mr. Walz himself. Four weeks after he took office in 2007, the organization was officially disbanded. Since his first trip to China, Governor Walz has visited the PRC an estimated” 30 days”. The Committee has emphasized in its investigation how crucial it is for American officials to be aware of Constitution social and mental warfare efforts that aim to endanger national security.

&nbsp, While serving in Congress, Walz was a colleague at the Macau Polytechnic University, which Comer described as a” Chinese organisation that characterized itself as having a’ long kept dedication to and enjoy for the homeland.'” Walz had” major credit card debt” at the time, Comer noted. &nbsp,

The committee also wants to know about any “warnings or advice the FBI perhaps had given Governor Walz about U.S. political figures being targeted by or recruited for State influence operations” because of his ties to the CCP and party officials ‘ “prophecy” of attempting to co-opt prominent figures in wealthy political, social, and academic circles in order to benefit the communist regime and the interests of Americans.

Walz will be nominated for vice-presidential at the Democratic National Convention this week. His ties to the CCP make it difficult to know where his fervors lie and what the CCP owe him in return for the money he and the CCP have given him over the years. &nbsp,

Expect nothing to be said about Walz being a stooge for the CCP from CNN, the Washington Post, or the New York Times. Or it will be honored on his resume as a gold star if they do report on it.
