The running mate of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent, has revealed that their strategy is considering stepping down and backing past president Donald Trump.

” We just have to stay being fair, my gut tells me right now.” I gotta only keep being fair. On the Impact Theory radio, Shanahan said,” I gotta stay focusing on what matters the most outside of party lines. I need to concentrate on a perception that goes beyond November.
” And if that means that we stay in, and you know, there’s perks to staying in”, she continued. ” If we get over 5 % of the vote, we actually establish ourselves as a party. A solid third party with a true chance of winning is what 71 % of Americans want. There’s also people resources available if we get over 5 % of the vote”.
According to Shanahan,$ 3.5 million in public finances would be available if she and Kennedy received 5 % of the vote to keep the party going. ” And, and that’s, you know, that’s worth something”, she said, because” that means that we can position for a real third party election in 2028 where we do n’t have to go around and spend tens of millions of dollars on ballot access, which means that we can spend all of that time and money campaigning”.
But here’s where issues got interesting. Truly interesting.
” But, you know, there’s two selections that we’re looking at, and one is staying in, forming that new celebration, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Walz president because we draw more votes from Trump”, she said. Or we leave right then and form a coalition with Donald Trump, explaining to our center why we’re making this choice.

According to Shanahan, that’s not an easy choice.
Nicole Shanahan, the vice president of RFK, claims that they are deliberating whether to support Trump or to withdraw.

Information of a possible Trump-Kennedy empire have been around for days. Many publications reported to ABC News that Trump and Kennedy had some discussions, including an in-person conference with him in Milwaukee during the Republican National Convention, where they discussed possible positions for him in a possible Trump presidency in trade for Kennedy dropping out and backing Trump.
According to two people with knowledge of the conversations, Kennedy might be offered the chance to lead the Health and Human Services office in a subsequent Trump administration.

If Robert F. Kennedy Jr. were to withdraw from the race and support Trump, it might give him a substantial advantage. Before Joe Biden left the race, Katherine was capturing about 9 % of the vote in the country. Although most believe Kennedy’s help center leaned toward Biden, he did get some Democratic voters. Since Biden’s exit, he’s seen a significant decline in support, but a Trump-Kennedy alliance might assist Trump in a nearby election.

However, I’m not fully convinced it will occur. His strong opposition to the COVID vaccines is what draws conservative voters ‘ attention. Trump contrasts this starkly with Trump, who sees the rapid development and deployment of vaccines as a significant accomplishment of his presidency.
My guess is that, if this were to happen, it may happen after the Democratic National Convention concludes. Maybe Kennedy would choose to support Trump on Sunday, imitating Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw from the race weeks after the Republican National Convention next month.
