According to an announcement from the Buckingham Palace, British King Charles will travel to Southport in the northwest of England on Tuesday to give respect to the victims and their families who were the victims of a massive stabbing next quarter.
This visit comes three days after the July 29 assault, which injured some young women, claimed their lives, and sparked nationwide protests in the United Kingdom. Turmoil erupted as a result of online misinformation that made up the incident’s origins, which falsely claimed the invasion was the work of an Islamist immigrant.
The palace announced in a speech that” His Majesty The King will go to Southport to show his continued support for those affected by the attack on July 29 and the subsequent riot” and thanked frontline emergency personnel for their continuous service to the local population.
Charles is scheduled to meet with some of the youngsters who survived the Taylor Swift-themed dancing class during his visit as well as their families.
The king made his first public address on August 10th, calling for mutual appreciation and understanding following the far-right protests that targeted Muslims and migrants, before that day.
A spokesman for the Buckingham Palace said:” His Majesty’s wish that shared values of mutual appreciation and understanding may continue to develop and unite the country.”
The authorities have charged a 17-year-old man, identified as Axel Rudakubana, a British national, with” three works of death, 10 counts of attempted murder and one of ownership of a edged article”.
