
According to a new report, at least four establishments in Chicago were threatened with bombs on the second day of the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday.
Law enforcement officers and officers K9s were conducting a research of the Nobu Hotel just before noon on Tuesday, according to Fox 32 Chicago, while they were looking into an alleged bomb threat at several resorts on Chicago’s Near West Side.
The weapon threat, which was emailed to Fox 32 Chicago’s newspaper, claimed that pipe weapons had been placed in many hotels, including the Hyatt House Chicago in West Loop, the Hotel Chicago West Loop, and the Nobu Hotel. The explosive threat, according to Fox 32 Chicago, mentioned the Democratic National Convention and contained anti-semitic remarks.

Police and K9s at the Nobu Hotel in West Loop tweeted a photo of several police cars, saying there was a pipe bomb threat at this and three different north loop/near east side resorts.
The Chicago Police Department stated in a speech to The New York Post that the US Secret Service was conscious of bomb threat challenges to different locations in the Downtown area. Law enforcement personnel are conducting background checks on the affected regions and checking the threat’s viability.
On Monday, anti-Israel activists broke through the landscaping around Chicago’s United Center, which is hosting the Democratic National Convention this year. When carrying Arab banners, protesters were caught removing sections of landscaping and allegedly clashing with law enforcement.
According to The Chicago Tribune, 13 people were detained as a result of the Democratic National Convention rally on Monday. The source added that” the danger was declared not bona fide” and that police officers did not find anything during the research into Tuesday’s weapon challenges.
