US Congressman Bill Pascrell passed away at the age of 87, according to a statement released on social media on Wednesday.
” It is with a profound sadness that we announce that Bill Pascrell Jr., our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away this morning. As our United States Representative, Bill fought to his last breathing to return to the task he cherished and to the people he loved”, Pascrell’s family said in a statement on X.
” Bill had an unrelenting passion for the town he grew up in and served his full life in Paterson.” He has spent his entire life serving our great country, and now he is at peacefulness,” the Congressman family said.
Bill had been representing his components for more than 20 years when he was elected as the 8th Congressional District representative of New Jersey in 1996. In 2013, the city was changed to the 9th Congressional District as a result of parliamentary reapportionment, and Bill was serving his eleventh word before passing ahead. Since 2007, he had been a part of the important House Ways and Means Committee, where he championed middle-class passions by advocating for job creation, good tax laws, useful trade agreements, and cheap care, according to Bill Pascrell’s official website.
