
Michael Madsen, an artist, was detained over the weekend and charged with domestic battery in Southern California.
Authorities said Madsen, 66, pushed his wife, DeAnna Madsen, and locked her out of their house in Malibu, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the house around 1: 15 a. m. Saturday and booked Madsen at 1: 40 a. m., according to web documents. Madsen was free about eight days later after posting$ 20,000 in loan.
A Madsen representative told Variety that there was a dispute between Michael and his family, which we hope will help them both resolve. Cops has not provided any details as to what allegedly caused the real violence.
Since 1996, the Madsens have been married. DeAnna is Madsen’s third wife, he was previously married to” General Hospital” actress Georganne LaPiere from 1984 to 1988 and actress and producer Jeannine Bisignano Jeannine Bisignano from 1991 to 1995.
Madsen has run into trouble with the law before, including a 2012 event in which he was charged with misdemeanor child endangerment. A lawyer for Madsen at the time claimed that the artist had discovered his son smoking cannabis and that they had fought over it.
Also, Madsen has twice been detained in Los Angeles County for driving while intoxicated, and he has even been accused of trespassing in 2022, soon after his brother Hudson committed suicide.
As an actor, Madsen is best known for his work in films directed by Quentin Tarantino, including” Reservoir Dogs”, both” Kill Bill” films and” The Hateful Eight”. Additionally, he starred in” Thelma &, Louise” and” Donnie Brasco” and appeared in the James Bond film” Die Another Day”.
