More of Kamala’s ‘Defund The Police’ Agenda Exposed

Despite having a history in law enforcement, Kamala Harris previously proposed removing officers officials as first responders in American communities. She made this quite naive suggestion in June of that year while she was a legislator and speaking at the Poor People’s Campaign Forum. &nbsp,

When a television host inquired about demilitarizing authorities troops across the country, Harris went all in on her “defund the police” plan by suggesting that police departments may no longer control open requests for assistance, such as 911 situations.

” ]W] e really need to get to a point where communities frankly do n’t need, do n’t need a law enforcement response to what’s happening in their communities because they are safe communities”, Harris said, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

Kamala Harris argued that we should n’t associate increased police presence with public safety in an interview with Power 106’s Nick Cannon. She praised Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s choice to reduce the police budget by$ 150 million, urged governments to reconsider their money, and questioned whether tax dollars are actually making a difference in the development of safe and healthy communities.

According to the “defund the police” activity, armed, public-funded mental health professionals may manage 911 calls more efficiently and stop violent confrontations with suspected criminals. This idea originated before George Floyd passed away from a substance overdose while being held by the authorities. &nbsp,

Her statements immediately conflicted with the information she sent as a District Attorney in San Francisco and Attorney General of California, where she praised the idea of adding more police officials to neighborhoods.

In her 2009 book,” Smart on Crime,” she suggested ways to improve the health of communities by saying, “[I]f we take a show of hands of those who would like to see more police officers on the street, mine may take up.

A more prominent and proper police presence is a crime stopper, she continued, and it has a beneficial effect on a neighborhood.

In June 2020, Harris thoroughly embraced the Black Lives Matter movement and changed her position on the use of the authorities power following Floyd’s passing.

The status quo considering has been held for far too much that more police will be on the streets and that more people will be safe. And that’s just bad, that’s not how it works,’ Harris said.

Harris has tried to use her previous position as attorney general of California as evidence that she’s a law-and-order member, however, her embrace of the “defund the officers” movement, as well as her efforts to promote the Minnesota Freedom Fund to bail out violent protesters in 2020, affects that narrative. &nbsp,
