The US is continuing to offend a considerable arms agreement by selling arms to&nbsp, Israel, &nbsp, Amnesty International&nbsp, has warned.

The NGO said the breaching of the Arms Trade Treaty is leading to “devastating loss of life” in the Occupied Territories, in particular&nbsp, Gaza.

The new laws on the sale of weapons were put in place in 155 state around the world in 2013 to stop “unlawful hands exchanges that facilitate burial crimes.”

But despite being a member, the US has continued to provide&nbsp, Israel&nbsp, with arms that have been used in immoral attacks, Amnesty reported.

Last October, American JDAM weapons were launched by&nbsp, Israel&nbsp, on properties in&nbsp, Gaza, killing 43 residents, including 19 children.

In January, &nbsp, Israel&nbsp, used a US-built GBU-39 guided weapon to target a family residence in Rafah, killing 18 residents, including 10 kids.

Patrick Wilcken, the NGO’s scientist on defense, surveillance and police, said:” Amnesty International&nbsp, has long been calling for a complete arms embargo on both&nbsp, Israel&nbsp, and Israeli armed groups because of historic patterns of serious violations of international human rights and humanitarian law, including war crimes, leading to brutal impacts on civilians, including women and children.

” States parties and signatories, including the US — the largest provider of arms to&nbsp, Israel&nbsp, — continue to license arms transfers to&nbsp, Israel&nbsp, in spite of overwhelming evidence of war crimes committed by Israeli forces.”

Amnesty described the continued sale of weapons to&nbsp, Israel&nbsp, by the US as a” stark example of failure … to fully comply” with the treaty.

The NGO is calling for an end to weapons sales to&nbsp, Israel&nbsp, at the 10th Conference of States Parties to the Arms Trade Treaty, which began on Monday.

The first of its kind to establish international standards for the flow of conventional weapons and ammunition is the “tea treaty.” According to Wilcken, the legality of an arms transfer is now expressly linked to international humanitarian and human rights laws.

Numerous governments continue to blatantly flout the law, which has caused a sizable loss of life in conflict zones.

” It is time for state parties to uphold their legal responsibilities and abide by the Arms Trade Treaty, to forbid the flow of arms to nations where it is known that it would be used to commit or facilitate serious violations of international human rights or humanitarian law” or that it would be in full compliance with international human rights and humanitarian law.
