One may think that with all the joy, passion, dance parties, image booths, abortions, vasectomies, and God-knows-what more went on at the DNC, Democrats would be too busy nursing hangovers and sharing hot memories on Snapchat now. They should still be twisted up the sheets, enjoying a cigar, combined, nicotine brush, or whatever they do, basking in the sensation of the past few weeks of oddness.  ,

But, however surfing the violet wave, the Dems were out bright and early. Rep. Maxine Waters ( Calif. ) took a risk and entered CNN’s friendly confines, likely believing that the hosts would stow the old softball in her lap and pose her probing questions about Kamala’s first 100 days.  ,
In response to Waters ‘ question about why Donald Trump is enjoying a surge of popularity with dark men, “CNN News Central” co-hosts Sara Sidner and John Berman made the decision to try a half-inch or but deeper than the show’s common interview process seems to help. Exercising her normal elegance and understanding, Waters chalked up the superior numbers, at least in part, to the fact that Trump has pardoned performers.
No, actually. Discover for yourself.
Dep Rep claims Trump’s accepting Djs Are The Cause Of His Growing Popularity In Black Men’s Pictures. twitter.com/jQ38qVPOx I— Daily Caller ( @DailyCaller ) August 23, 2024
As you can definitely tell by my account picture, I am not dark, so I can give no first-hand insight. But I did hazard a guess that dark me who saw this change may have thought to themselves,” With Dems like these, who needs foes”?

Waters did take note that, as the Daily Caller News Foundation reported, dark men’s unhappiness may be rooted in economic components:
I think our efforts to engage and inform young persons about public policy concerns have failed. Many of our younger people are businesses, and they want to own businesses, they would like to have some help and some assist with that. They need access to capital, and this is very important with them. They realize how difficult their lives have been. Rent’s too high, they do n’t have 20 % for a down payment on a home, on and on and on. We’ve got to do a better job.
One thing Waters misses is that almost everyone in the country who has not had a progressive lobotomy is dealing with the same issues in some way. She almost subconsciously falls back into the Democratic Party’s stance that minorities and, for that matter, anyone else are commodities to be used and broken into, even though she does acknowledge the idea that black men may want more for themselves than what they have been given.  ,

Waters and her party believe they are only interested in crime and rap music because they lack the capacity to comprehend black men as fully-orbed people. If black men, or any men, see something in Donald Trump, it is someone who treats them like men. Even the most compromised, man-bun-sporting male feminist sitting glumly in the passenger seat wants that. They may not acknowledge it, but they do want it.  ,
To many, Trump represents more than better economic policies, secure borders, and safer streets. What the Democrats are unaware of is the fact that Trump, warts and all, embodies the potential and opportunity that men want to achieve.  ,
