The same people who pushed for the firing of those who did n’t get vaccinated, who shut schools despite warnings of the negative impact it would have on children’s learning, and who threatened to jail people for breaking silly social distancing laws have spent the last four days trying to persuade the American people that they are the party of “freedom.”

Some Democrats spoke admiringly of the” Chinese Device” of zero COVID. Obviously, their controlling character attracted people to the idea of locking them away for weeks at once. Some, like California Governor Gavin Newsom, became COVID fools. While having personal meals with his fat-cat friends at exclusive locations, Newsom restricted access to and blocked restaurants from starting.
The Dems ‘ vice presidential candidate, Tim Walz, proved the notion “absolute power corrupts absolutely”. According to the New York Times, Walz took the unusual move of preventing people from gathering indoors or outdoors, even though data has consistently shown the outdoors to be fairly safe, months after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and another GOP governors reopened their states and sent the kids back to school.
” This ban includes indoor and outdoor groups, planned and unplanned gatherings, and public and private gatherings”, Walz declared at the time, applying the attempt to groups of any length, “even if social distance may be maintained”.

With that dystopian record on your resume, it takes a Lake Minnetonka–sized reservoir of shamelessness to proclaim, as Walz did last night, that” when we Democrats talk about freedom, we mean the freedom to make a better life for yourself and the people that you love, freedom to make your own health care decisions …]and ] freedom to live the life that you want to lead”.
Making the health care choice to obtain outside with the people you love is as important as it gets. Walz also criminalized it.
No, we’re never hearing anything about the Democrats ‘ COVID history of dictatorship. And what we do learn is absurdly simple-minded lies.
” Thanks to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris”, Rep. James Clyburn ( D–S. C. ) said Monday,” we reopened our schools, brought back our businesses, and restored our faith in the American can-do spirit”.
It’s informative to understand what the New York Times wrote about school closures next year.
According to the Times,” there is widespread recognition among public health and education professionals that extended college closures did not significantly stop the spread of Covid, while the damages suffered by babies have been significant and lasting,” according to the Times. A growing body of research indicates that epidemic school closures came at a high value to individuals as experts prepare for the next public health emergency, whatever it may be.
The Democrats have had to put some fancy dancing in place to represent their behavior as being in line with “freedom” when it comes to the Second Amendment.

Mr. Walz’s independence from being shot is another instance. He’s endorsing, in ambiguous fashion, the president’s use of force to take guns off the road. The Second Amendment explicitly grants the right of an individual to bear arms, as demonstrated by numerous Supreme Court opinions.
Yet in Mr. Walz’s view, gun control—denying a right—becomes a form of freedom. Coercion is liberty. We believe that the majority of Americans would view the right to attend school safely as the government’s obligation to prevent crime and protect public safety.
It’s never that simple with Democrats. The party of “big government” only wants the government to sit on you if you do n’t have the right thoughts or take the actions they deem inappropriate.  ,
If Donald Trump and the Republicans want to stifle this hypocrisy, they must work together.
