After liking a Donald Trump Instagram article that detailed his 2024 GOP campaign system, past American football player Brittany Mahomes became the subject of a social media controversy.
The August 13 Instagram article included Trump’s opportunities on deporting’ pro-Hamas radical’ and keeping’ males out of children’s athletics.’ Mahomes was accused of supporting Trump’s questionable positions.
After 10 days of liking the article, Mahomes issued a clearly worded information aimed at her trollers, saying,” To be a bigot as an child, you have to have some deep-rooted troubles you refuse to recover from childhood. Your head is completely developed, and you detest to see others succeed.
Mahomes did not directly target the specific causes of the criticism, but her article appeared to have been a response to the negative remarks she received for conversing with Trump, according to the New York Post.
Users on X ( formerly Twitter ) continued to criticize her for allegedly removing or deleting negative comments on her Instagram account, which showed no indication of the backlash.
Some online feedback highlighted the appearance of double requirements in her behavior, especially given that she is married to mixed Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who both have mixed-race children along.
One user wrote,” Patrick Mahomes, imagine marrying someone who does n’t care about your rights and your kid’s rights. Although Brittany Mahomes supports Project 2025, it’s crazy to marry a dark man with mixed children.
In the midst of the discussion, Mahomes appears to have removed her from Trump’s position and stopped following the former chairman as of Friday evening.
Her husband Patrick, who told Time magazine in April that he did n’t want to “want anyone to vote for a certain president,” made headlines for his decision to abstain from making comments on the 2024 presidential election.
