According to a royal professional, Meghan Markle has officially presented a crucial requirement for her return to England with Prince Harry. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who resigned from their royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California, have n’t been to the UK since.
Markle’s demand for secure residency
Markle, next seen in the UK during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022, has stipulated that she would only gain if provided with a safe place to live, split from Harry’s family. Meghan has said she’s just ready to go back to England if she and Harry have a position of their own and the protection they both believe is important, according to Royal artist Tom Quinn. Meghan did not transfer to the UK and sit with her father’s friends”, as reported by The Mirror.
The hunt for permanent residency
The couple’s demand for safe residency follows their expulsion from Frogmore Cottage, their original UK house, in June. Quinn suggested that the partners should consider moving their kids, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK because they have no present place of residence in the country. But, Quinn noted,” It’s going to take a lot of politics to get to the place where Archie and Lili are able to create a real and comfortable relationship with their relatives George, Charlotte, and Louis”.
Safety issues remain a concern
Prince Harry just won the right to challenge a High Court ruling regarding the security of his family in the UK. Harry challenged the court’s earlier ruling that their present security plans were sufficient. The pair has been exempt from their taxpayer-funded police protection since they have resigned from royal duties, making safety a crucial consideration for any upcoming trips to the UK.
