Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, accused Zuckerberg of yielding to censorship pressures, criticising his handling of “massive child exploitation” issues on Instagram and implying that Meta’s response has been grossly inadequate. This latest attack comes amid Musk’s broader support for Pavel Durov, Telegram’s founder, who faces a potential 20-year prison sentence in France.
The arrest is related to allegations that the phone’s lack of content management has led to platform-related criminal activity.
In a response to a question posted on Instagram asking why the Meta founder has n’t been arrested yet, Zuck responded,” Instagram has a massive child exploitation problem, but no arrest for he…
Zuckerberg publicly addressed these issues earlier this year at a Senate reading, where he expressed regret and support for Meta’s efforts to combat online misuse.
Musk also took a drill at declining free talk in Europe, warning that by 2030, individuals may experience severe repercussions–potentially also execution–for seemingly innocuous acts like liking a meme. He has urged customers in heavily censored areas to share information on X as a barrier against encroaching “authoritarianism” and to increase their voices there.
The conflict between Musk and Zuckerberg, well-documented and generally controversial, took another spin when Musk accused Meta of being” super selfish” in its promises of funds for marketing campaigns. In comparison, Musk described his personal company’s approach to credit as somewhat less hostile.
The two tech giants had previously considered staging a” box combat,” a spectacle that initially sparked public interest but was later called off, adding a level of drama.
