In response to the growing Middle East conflict, former US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump criticized the Biden administration’s response, claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris is” sleeping on a shore in California” while Vice President Joe Biden is” sleeping on a beach in California.”
Trump questioned the viability of US politics in an X-post post, highlighting what he thought was President Joe Biden’s lack of engagement.
Who is negotiating in the Middle East for us? Weapons are dropping everywhere! Trump’s comments come as the Middle East region is in intense tensions as a result of a number of Israeli and Hezbollah military activities.
Israeli forces have launched numerous attacks in Lebanon over the past few weeks, aiming specifically at Hezbollah rocket rockets and military installations. Apparently, Hezbollah acted in response to an alleged immediate danger from which Israel says was planning to launch missiles into Israeli territory.
Hezbollah, nevertheless, has strongly denied these complaints, labeling them as false. Since then, the organization has launched its own attacks, which it has described as a” first period” of its response to Israeli activities.
In response to the ongoing crime and the continuing upheaval, Israel has declared a 48-hour disaster. Palestinian civilians in southern Lebanon have been warned of possible retaliation by the Army after they have carried out several airstrikes against Hezbollah targets.
Trump also criticised Kamala Harris ‘ answer to the issue by criticizing her earlier.
In a recent speech at the Democratic National Convention, Harris reaffirmed her support for Israel’s right to defend itself and criticized Hamas ‘ steps as a militant group in Gaza. Harris both made clear that Israel needs to be able to protect itself while even acknowledging the common suffering of Palestinians.
Trump, but, took to his Truth Social account to show his criticism, suggesting that Harris’s plans may lead the US into a broader and more dangerous issue.
