    Trump ex-adviser says Putin played on his ego

    A previous top aide says in a new publication that Donald Trump was determined to warm up to Vladimir Putin despite Russia’s meddling in US politics and advisers ‘ concerns. Trump’s subsequent national security adviser, H. R. McMaster, has revealed some behind-the-scenes details as US officials prepare to make a decision regarding whether the ex-prez may reappear in office and as US officials warn of additional foreign election interference. According to McMaster, an “overconfident” Trump first in his presidency sought to improve ties with Russia by establishing a personal relationship with Putin. But the “ruthless former KGB controller, played to Trump’s personality and fears with fawning”.
