DUBAI: Yemen’s Iran-backed Huthi insurgents praised Jewish attacks by Lebanon’s Hezbollah on Sunday and reiterated risks to start their own rape in response to Israeli attacks on a slot in Yemen.
The Huthis congratulated Hezbollah and its Secretary-General on the valiant and wonderful attack the resistance carried out this day against the Israelis, according to a statement released by the Huthis after Hezbollah claimed to have launched a massive attack using rockets and drones.
The Yemeni insurgents said the” strong and effective answer… confirms that the weight is ready, strong and sincere in its promise and risks”.
In response to July 20 attacks that targeted a rebel-run slot in the southern area of Hodeida, the Huthis pledged to build their own strikes against Israel.
The declaration read,” We reaffirm once more that the Yemeni answer is undoubtedly coming.”
The Huthis launched their first fatal attack on Israel on the day of the attack on Hodeida, an Israeli citizen was killed in an Israeli drone strike in Tel Aviv.
Israel’s answer destroyed much of the city’s energy storage capacity and killed at least nine persons, according to the insurgents.
The Huthis are fighting Israel as part of Iran’s so-called” shaft of weight”, which includes radical parties in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
The Yemeni insurgents have launched numerous missile and drone attacks on Israel-linked ships in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea since November.
They claim that the plan, which has slowed down sea customers on a crucial global trade route, is intended to show Palestinians their support for the Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip.
